Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to improve my at-home pedicure routine because I always end up with rough edges or nails that chip too easily. I’ve read a lot about different nail tools, like files and clippers, but I feel like I’m missing something that makes the process feel precise and professional. Has anyone experimented with different kinds of cutting or trimming tools for pedicures? I’m curious about what really works and what feels comfortable to hold. Any advice or personal experiences would be amazing—I want something that’s efficient but gentle on my nails and cuticles, without causing damage.

If you want a more “professional” finish, a big upgrade is switching to a glass nail file and a good pair of nippers for clean edges. Glass files are gentler and seal the nail edge better, while tools like electric nail drills can help with precision but are usually overkill unless you’re very careful.

I’d say try switching to a good nail nipper and a glass file—those two made the biggest difference for me. It feels way more precise, smoother edges, and less chipping overall.
