So I've been fighting with the carbs on my 78 CB750 for what feels like forever. Rebuilt them twice, synced them three times, still ran like crap. Turned out the float heights were all over the place and one of the pilot jets was partially clogged even after cleaning. Lesson learned, dont trust the rebuild kit specs, measure everything yourself.
Anyway shes running smooth now. Next up is swapping the bars for some lower superbike bars and probably a new seat. The stock one looks like a couch and honestly feels like one too. Thinking about doing a 4 into 1 exhaust while im at it but not sure if I want to deal with rejetting again lol. Anyone here run a Mac 4-1 on these? Curious how they sound and if the jetting is a nightmare.
