So I finally got the old CB750 out last weekend after being cooped up all winter and man, my riding was rusty. Nothing scary but I caught myself doing dumb stuff I normally dont. Grabbing too much front brake at low speed, target fixation on potholes, that kind of thing. Took me about an hour before my brain switched back into bike mode.
Made me think about safety stuff we all know but get lazy about. Check your tire pressure before that first ride, it drops sitting all winter. Same with chain tension. And for the love of god do a few slow speed drills in an empty lot before you hit traffic. I skipped that this year and regretted it.
Also cleaned my visor finally, couldnt believe how much better I could see. Little stuff adds up.
Whats your pre season routine? Any drills you swear by to knock the rust off?
